IATF 16949

12 months certainly roll around quickly these days and after being one of the first heat treaters to achieve IATF 16949 status when we transitioned in 2017, have just gone through this year’s 3 day audit and again we are proud to announce we have retained our status.

After being introduced in late 2016 IATF16949 was the latest accreditation needed to stay ahead of the game and satisfy automotive customers. Heat Treatment 2000 Ltd as usual ‘took the bull by the horns’ and at the next opportunity went straight for IATF rather than the usual TS which would have bought us more time to prepare for IATF but in true HT2000 style we took the plunge and thanks to our dedicated workforce were able to achieve IATF with only 4 minor N/C’s, pretty good for a first attempt!

We have come through 2018’s IATF 16949 audit with no N/C’s and no observations which is again all credit to our dedicated workforce and teamwork!
